Julie has been practicing Vinyasa flow yoga since 2000, and finds the regular practice of yoga to be transformative of her mind, body and soul.  Julie is dedicated to helping her students realize their full potential through the benefits of yoga, and aims to help her students integrate the transformative effects of yoga on and off the mat.  Julie’s classes stress the merger of proper alignment, sequencing and pranayama.  Julie sees teaching yoga as a natural extension of her prior work for many years as a licensed clinical social worker.  As the practice of yoga is an ever-evolving process, Julie draws her greatest inspiration to grow in yoga from her students.  Julie has completed the 200 hour teacher training at Yogaview.  To enhance her teaching skills and deepen her ability to help her students, Julie is now enrolled in Yogaview’s 500 hour level-2 teacher training.  Julie is extremely grateful to all of her past instructors, without whose guidance she would not have realized the all-encompassing power of yoga.
